Electrosymphonica began as a simple programmer sat down to play around with FL Studio. I found that programming music is actually somewhat more difficult, at least for me, than programming computers. Still, I took a liking to it, and spend a good few years just "mucking about" as one of my tutors put it, and learning what not to do. This produced several terrible mixes which I'll not burden you with.
At some point I started getting the hang of things and began producing music that not only wasn't terrible, but it was somewhat pleasant to listen to. At the same time, I began to find my unique voice and style.
My music has been compared to rave techno, car commercial backdrop, and just general high-energy, caffeine-induced work music. The basic goal has been generally to provide an electronic feel, without being quite as repetitive as techno. I also compose for solo piano.
Style influences range from space synth (the modern revival of Eurodance) to Daft Punk's Tron Legacy soundtrack, OC Remix (video game music) to dubstep (a la Lindsey Stirling).
In each category, here are some of my favorite artists, which I'm sure have influenced my own music subconsciously if not directly:
Anamanaguchi, Danimal Cannon, Big Giant Circles
